ABOUT THIS SOAP:

We love simple, natural soap. The highlighted ingredient in this soap bar is Bentonite Clay, a natural clay that has been used in skin care for centuries. Bentonite clay is derived from the weathering and erosion of naturally occurring volcanic ash deposits. Montmorillonite clays, the primary ingredient of bentonite clay, are not only one of the most effective and powerful healing clays but are unique due to their ability to adsorb and exchange cations. When mixed with water, bentonite clay swells like a sponge, while simultaneously creating a negative electrical charge. This charge attracts and removes positively charged toxins, pollutants, chemicals, impurities, and heavy metals to the skins surface.

Our bentonite soap bar is a gentle exfoliator, is non-greasy, and is made with coconut, lard, goat milk, oats, and honey. The soap is colored using honey and bentonite clay, is 100% natural, and palm-oil free.

SOAP SCENT:

This soap is scented with the essential oils of Frankincense, Black Pepper, Patchouli, Sage, Cedarwood, Amyris, and Bergamot.

Saponified Oils of Coconut, Lard, Olive, & Almond, Goat Milk, Oats, Honey, Water, Bentonite Clay, Poppy Seed, and Essential Oils

OUR SOAPS ARE:

Fragrance-Free, Sulfate-Free, Paraben-Free, Phthalate-Free, Cruelty-Free, Formaldehyde-Free, and are proudly made in Central Pennsylvania

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Use daily for cleansing. Lather using a sponge, cloth, or shower puff. Massage soap lather into skin. Rinse skin thoroughly with water.

MAKING YOUR SOAP LAST LONGER:

Handcrafted bar soap should be kept in a cool, dry storage location after purchase. To extend the life of your soap once you’ve started using it, we recommend using a draining soap dish to ensure it doesn’t get wet between uses. Keep away from direct streams of water.

OUR STANCE:

We began producing our own soap because we were sick of using chemical filled, toxic ingredients on ourselves and our young children. Now every bar of soap at Well Nurtured is made using the cold process method and only simple, natural ingredients. Every batch of soap is handmade, beginning to end, using natural oils and fats, natural colorants from plants, herbs, and clays, and organic additive ingredients (no pre-made bases, fragrances, fillers, or preservatives). We also happily declare that many of the plant-based ingredients we include in our soaps are grown and harvested on our own property.

Because our soap is handmade from scratch, hand cut, and individually wrapped upon order, each bar is unique. Please allow for slight variations in color, size, shape and design characteristics, as these are to be expected in handcrafted small-batch soap.

Some of our soaps are unscented (no essential oils or fragrance oils), as synthetically created fragrance oils are known irritants that can contain numerous undisclosed ingredients and are proven to trigger headaches, dizziness, skin rashes, and coughs.
