ABOUT THIS SOAP:

We love simple, natural soap. Made with Dead Sea Mud and a combination of rich, creamy oils, this mineral rich soap is a gentle cleanser and exfoliator that contains ingredients that may help soothe skin irritants, improve hydration, and help address acne and eczema.

Dead Sea mud comes from the Dead Sea, a salt lake in the Middle East. Dead Sea mud is the smooth viscous black paste harvested from the shores of the Dead Sea. Dead Sea mud, which possess high concentrations of sulfates and mineral salts, has been used in skincare for centuries. We can attribute the uniqueness of Dead Sea mud to its mineral composition of mostly magnesium and potassium, with limited amounts of salt. The notable antimicrobial content found in Dead Sea Mud is compounded of hundreds of natural plant extracts, essential oils, and particles of marine sponges, resulting in high levels of minerals and trace elements, making it an excellent ingredient in skin care items. Enjoy the invigorating light scent of lavender and tea tree essential oils first thing in the morning while giving your skin the boost it needs.

The soap is colored using Dead Sea Mud only, is 100% natural, and palm-oil free.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Use daily for cleansing. Lather using a sponge, cloth, or shower puff. Massage soap lather into skin. Rinse skin thoroughly with water.

MAKING YOUR SOAP LAST LONGER:

Handcrafted bar soap should be kept in a cool, dry storage location after purchase. To extend the life of your soap once you’ve started using it, we recommend using a draining soap dish to ensure it doesn’t get wet between uses. Keep away from direct streams of water.

OUR STANCE:

We began producing our own soap because we were sick of using chemical filled, toxic ingredients on ourselves and our young children. Now every bar of soap at Well Nurtured is made using the cold process method and only simple, natural ingredients. Every batch of soap is handmade, beginning to end, using natural oils and fats, natural colorants from plants, herbs, and clays, and organic additive ingredients (no pre-made bases, fragrances, fillers, or preservatives). We also happily declare that many of the plant-based ingredients we include in our soaps are grown and harvested on our own property.

Because our soap is handmade from scratch, hand cut, and individually wrapped upon order, each bar is unique. Please allow for slight variations in color, size, shape and design characteristics, as these are to be expected in handcrafted small-batch soap.

Some of our soaps are unscented (no essential oils or fragrance oils), as synthetically created fragrance oils are known irritants that can contain numerous undisclosed ingredients and are proven to trigger headaches, dizziness, skin rashes, and coughs.
