We love simple, natural healing! We've taken the old-fashioned black drawing salve recipe and given it an herbal twist! Our handmade Black Drawing Salve combines infused moisturizing carrier oils with skin nourishing herbs and wholesome amounts of Activated Charcoal and Bentonite clay for the ultimate herbal formula.
A drawing salve, or black salve, is a traditional remedy that has been used for centuries to treat various skin conditions. It is a thick, dark colored topical ointment that is applied directly to the skin to help provide relief from various skin issues, soothe inflammation, and draw out foreign objects like splinters and stings. The term “drawing” refers to the salve’s ability to pull out impurities from the skin, helping to speed up the healing process.
Our herbal body care remedies and soothing salves are made from infused oils and wildcrafted herbs. Handcrafted with minimal ingredients and absolutely no fillers, toxic chemicals, or harmful preservatives. Created in small batches, oils are made to infuse slowly for months for maximum potency.

SIZE: Order is for a 2 oz. reusable tin of salve
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Clean the affected area. Apply a thin layer of salve as needed throughout the day. Cover with a bandage (to avoid staining clothes, sheets, towels, etc.) and leave overnight. Rinse with warm water

OUR STANCE:
We began producing our own natural skincare items because we were sick of using chemical filled, toxic ingredients on ourselves and our young children. Now every health and skincare item at Well Nurtured is made using only simple, natural ingredients. Every batch of soap, serum, salve, balm, shampoo, and perfume is handmade, beginning to end, in small batches, using natural oils and ingredients (no pre-made bases, fragrances, fillers, or preservatives) and every tincture is made by slowly infusing organically grown, handpicked herbs (many of which are from our own home) in alcohol for maximum potency.
