A scar may form anywhere there has been a injury or wound and is a natural part of the healing process. A scar replaces lost or damaged skin and is formed of fibrous tissue. Utilizing nutrient and vitamin rich herbs and oils is imperative when exfoliating and rejuvenating these damaged skin cells. Composed of collagen, similar to normal tissue, scar tissue grows back densely and inelastically, resulting in tissue with a different texture and quality than the surrounding normal, undamaged tissue. OUR STANCE:
We began producing our own natural skincare items because we were sick of using chemical filled, toxic ingredients on ourselves and our young children. Now every health and skincare item at Well Nurtured is made using only simple, natural ingredients. Every batch of soap, serum, salve, balm, shampoo, and perfume is handmade, beginning to end, in small batches, using natural oils and ingredients (no pre-made bases, fragrances, fillers, or preservatives) and every tincture is made by slowly infusing organically grown, handpicked herbs (many of which are from our own home) in alcohol for maximum potency.
